I tend to do it the other way round with finger foods at lunch and spoon feeding in the evening. But some faves have been fallafel, potato tots, fish fingers, tortilla wraps, strawberries, baby corn, cheese, quesadillas, puff pastry parcels
Broccoli tots are a good finger food for lunch or tea. Just mash up some potato and broccoli and put in some grated cheese (dairy free if needed) and mould into a sausage shape and bake in the oven. You can freeze them and just reheat from frozen. I’ve also tried putting some leftover salmon in to make them into like fish cake sausages and my little girl loves them! Well also do sweetcorn and spinach fritters at lunchtime. I can’t fully remember the recipe but I think it’s dairy free. They also free and can be eaten hot or cold. If we’re going out somewhere for lunch I’ll defrost a couple the night before and take them with us. And if we’re at home I just defrost in the microwave
Hi there do you mind me asking what oral problems your other baby had / did it get better ? My baby going through the same atm
When it comes to lunches with my little girl (she’s almost 9 months) she mainly loves having cucumber sticks, some melty sticks from Ella’s kitchen, occasionally she also will have a crumpet or pancake, I also find it hard sometimes to figure out what’s best to give her and what she should wait till older for, when it comes to feeding at lunch I find it hard as well sometimes
