@Chloe Thank you so much, that’s really reassuring 💕🥰
with my first, we all got a cold when she was about 3 weeks old. it was rubbish, but similar to chloe, she was still feeding fine and didn't have a temperature. if he does catch it, it's not your fault, sometimes it's just unavoidable. new baby hasn't had a cold yet, but whenever my eldest does, i give her some calpol which seems to help. also if you breastfeed, offer the breast lots as it is so good for comfort when they aren't well. fingers crossed your little cutie won't catch it though, and hope you feel better soon xx
@keisha🍉 Thank you so much, I hugely appreciate it 💕 I have stocked up on all the baby cold stuff in case so fingers crossed!! Xxx
I had a really bad cold when my little one was 11 weeks and she didn’t get it at all, thankfully!
@Chantelle Oh thats reassuring thank you!! 🥰
If you’re breastfeeding you’re passing antibodies and it’s very likely you won’t pass the virus or at least not to that extent. I’ve been ill twice now for more than a week each time and baby was fine even though i was literally coughing and sneezing in his face when soothing and feeding him 😅🥲
Hey! You’re doing everything right but sometimes it’s inevitable they will catch it too, the same way as if your ill and your partner might get ill after you! Just keeping doing what you’re doing and if he does get a bit under the weather just lots of cuddles, saline to clear any congestion and a snot sucker if you have one! My LO is 11 weeks tomorrow & just caught the cold I had she’s fine still drinking a lot and no temperature just a blocked nose and a little cough xx
