Bath after c section
I’ve always thought you can’t bath for 6 weeks after c section, my midwife at the hospital told me this again before I left, however the midwife that came to see me on day 2 said I could have a bath or a shower it didn’t matter…which confused me as I thought you couldn’t soak the scar 😅 what has everyone else been told? Thanks!

I was told to only shower
The midwife that discharged me on day 10 said you can start having short baths if the wound has scabbed over properly 🤷🏼♀️
I was told no bath, only shower and not to use any products on the scar

I've been told no soap on the scar for few weeks. So take normal showers and then tap dry making sure the scat is dry.
