Bleeding in pregnancy
Hi all, I'm at 10 weeks, since yesterday I've started bleeding. Dark brown spotting, not needing a pad but every time I go to the toilet I see the same amount in the toilet paper. I've already gone to a&e and they booked an early scan for me on Monday. They said it could be normal but want to double check to be sure. Said to go back if I star bleeding heavily or have severe pain. I only have regular cramps not stabbing pain. Anyone experienced it? I'm very anxious for Monday .

@Amy no scan yet as in my country the first one will be after 12 weeks. I'll have one on Monday. No sex recently:/
I was wondering if you had any private reassurance scans before the 12 week one. I hope the scan on Monday goes well

Brown blood isn’t usually a concern as such as it’s usually old blood. Have you had sex recently? This can break a blood vessel in the cervix, which is more sensitive in pregnancy. Have you had any scans yet?
