No. It’s a sign that he will probably be ready at 6 months though. Gut health is most important and the gut isn’t ready for solid foods before 6 months. He would be reaching for a curling iron, cup of hot coffee, and your car’s shifter, but you wouldn’t let him have any of those things.

My baby started reaching for things around 2.5 months and we just started giving him purées at 4.5 months!

Yes showing interest in what you are eating, pared with a few other behaviors is a good thing. I started mine with purees at 4.2 months…His Doctor agreed.

@Abi 🤣🤣 All of that was very unnecessary u could of kept scrolling ik a lot of people started before 6 months with a dr consent

🤣🤣🤣 You asked a question, I answered it.

@Abi and like I said very unnecessary like obviously I would never give my child something that will hurt him would never put my child in no danger good day ✌🏽

@Abi I actually agree with you! I know for a fact we won’t be starting any foods till 6 months as well. He can show all the signs but I’m making the choice to wait til my little guy is 6 months… I am not going to introduce foods now, it’s way to early. Op was unnecessarily rude and I don’t know why she backlashed, your comment wasn’t unnecessary or rude! 🥴

@Trinity and that’s your choice not to give him Purees until he is 6 months lmao I just asked a question never said I was going to start feeding him with out talking to his dr first and to make it seem like I would put my child in danger over a question is crazy so again like I said very unnecessary but I guess it’s not rude to make it seem like ima gonna put my child in danger are a unfit mom because I simply asked a question on this app I mean that Is what the app is for right but yall both got it 😂😂 im done entertaining this you could of kept scrolling right along with her 😂

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in motherhood it’s do what you think is best for your baby. Everybody has their own parenting style and is gonna try to tell you that yours is wrong. I don’t get why other moms are some of the judgiest people and it’s other moms that typically mom shame more than any other person!

She literally never said anything of that sorts? So I am confused on where you are getting that impression. She is right about the digestive system. She never said you were unfit mom. No one said to talk to his doctor. No one is saying you are going to put your son in danger. You literally took it completely out of context and making it a bigger issue than it is. So What is your issue? You are being hostile and unnecessarily rude for what reason? Don’t come on here asking advice and get upset when it’s not something you want to hear.

@Trinity I said what I said 🤣✌🏽

I feel bad for you, as I use to act like this. A little growing would help you a lot! Have a good night mama ❤️

Interest in food is one sign. There's several. But it's definitely a good sign towards having food.

@Abi please do more research on this. There's a lot of research showing it is safe and beneficial if a baby is showing readiness signs to start at 4 months. It's not just people randomly doing it. It's based in science that grows and evolves over time. You absolutely have the right to wait if you want, but its also okay to start at 4 months if the baby is showing signs and you've spoken to your healthcare provider.

@Aris I think she meant to direct it towards abi!

@Kaila yep clicked the wrong comment.

@Aris sorry clicked the wrong comment

I have done tons of research over the last 12 years of being a mother, and listen to my children’s doctor who agrees to 6 months as well. 😊

my son is 4 months old and his doctor said yes to CERTAIN baby foods consult with the baby’s doctor next time you go in all baby’s are different and all baby’s hit milestones on there own time!!

@Emily couldn't agree more.Idk why people don't understand that part of (every baby is completely different ) The all don't start walking and talking and eating the same day. My doctor did give me the go ahead too at 4 months. (you can just choose to start or wait a little longer and that's fine)

@Aris I do understand that each baby is different, I have a bachelors in early childhood education along I worked in early childhood care for many years before switching to 5th grade. I just view things differently as in I am not going to start giving my baby food untill he is 6 months and that’s my preference. Don’t try to make us seem dumb because we have a different view point. I’m not sitting here belittling you because you want to start feeding at 4 months 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Trinity Obviously Doctor trinity ,you read the part where I said, some people choose to wait , some don't and that's fine , but you just had to mention my name .I truly don't care if you have 17 degrees of evolution.Sincerely congratulations but I do not care. I did not mention YOU anywhere , I don't wish to go back and forth with you AT ALL, I would really appreciate it if you just never mention me , like ever...You could wait 29 months to feed your own , who I'm I to care about whomever you are. And if I am making you feel dumb ,by saying every child is different, Doctors advice different things and people will and can do whatever they want , well 😅😅😅

@Aris at this rate I might as well be a doctor if you insist on calling me one 😇 but I care and proud of my degrees! Made me well educated and I love that! But here we go again with the belittling. I love that for you 🥰

@Trinity “I feel bad for you, as I use to act like this. A little growing would help you a lot! Have a good night mama ❤️” this was what you commented towards the OP, I think you could benefit from taking your own advice and growing up a little.

@Kaila same with you sweetheart ❤️ you didn’t need to get involved

@Trinity oh sweetheart, bless your soul! I hope you have the evening you deserve🥰

@Trinity and if standing up for others means I need to do a little growing up then I guess I’m not growing up any time soon😉

@Kaila babe I did the same thing. You all were and still are being fucking bitches? For what reason? Are you all that insecure to be rude to other moms with different view points? On the bright side I do have everything I deserve, a man who spoils me, a healthy baby boy and a chance to be a stay at home mom. My life isn’t miserable like the rest of yours! I don’t need to come on here and attack other moms on how they choose to do things. No reason to be a cunt 😊

@Trinity oh wow and now you want to name call. Hmm that’s real mature!

@Kaila cunt ❤️

😅😅 this is hilarious to watch. Watch Cinderella wear the shoe...

@Aris trinity and I are all good now😂 we’ve been messaging back and forth! She says “unblock her”🤣

@Kaila eeeeeh ,my intuition was to stay far away from that energy.…nope, I want love💕
