What should I do

Most of the time if I google a situation it just tells me “have a good routine” and “don’t let the baby get overtired” but I can never find real answers for what to do TODAY when everything is messed up 🥴 pls help 9 mo awful sleeper, woke today at 5 am and took naps from 8-9:30 and 1-2. Do I try to fit in another nap and just have a late bedtime? (If we do bedtime before 7:30 we end up with split nights) or do I just take the L and put her to bed at 5:50 like I’ve calculated based on her normal cues and deal with the split night? 🙃

My daughter is 16 months now and I ALWAYS lean toward late nap/extra nap and late bedtime. It just seems to work better for her. If she goes to bed too early, she ends up with a split night or she sleeps 30 minutes and treats it as a short nap. So I definitely vote short nap (30ish minutes) and later bed time! I’m no expert by any means but that has always worked better for us!

That’s the 9 month sleep regression. Following bc they are killing me as well. For my LO when I notice a regression I give her plenty of stimulation and time to physically get tired. That usually does the trick But even so the extra nap and late bedtime tends to help.
