Nap stopping you from doing things

What time is your toddler napping? Ours is typically from 12-2.30ish could be 30mins earlier or later depending on the time she wakes for the day.
It feels like we can’t do much, by the time we get out and get home again for nap feels like we aren’t out for long at all. After her nap, quick lunch and out again can be 3.30 by this point and now irs dark outside 🙈

I’m worried about Christmas Day round my SIL’s, she won’t sleep in her pram so can’t be out and about with her during nap time. She sleeps in the car but it’s the journey isn’t 1.5-2 hours long it’s not long enough. Anyone else in the same boat? Feels like people are cancelling seeing us now because her nap is bang in the middle of the day and doesn’t suit others.

Yes my daughters nap is exactly the same time. Usually do baby group in the morning then lunch and nap.
But if we go swimming we have to leave about 1.30 so messes up the day. We have to be out by 3 for the school run too.

Our nap time is 1-3:30ish (only just dropped to 1 nap) and totally get that it makes plans hard. We try to go out early but some things don’t open till 10 and then travel time etc. and meal times so a lot of the time we stay quite local. Though I do like to see her nap time as also down time for me and my husband so we quite like getting home too. Though sometimes when trying to accommodate others or certain plans it can be tough. Think it’s helps to know you are doing the right thing by prioritising their nap/sleep. That said I think you can sprinkle flexibility in when needed. So in the past we’ve done naps on the go, they are 40-60mins and need to take a full dark cover for the pram to stand a chance at this as never been a good napper. It’s not ideal but it’s enough to get through and then early bedtime. You could take a travel cot to a friends house for nap time which has worked well for us before. Have people over at yours. Wake them up earlier when really needed and early bed.

Yes! People kept telling me it would be easier when they are one one nap but I feel like there is no time to do anything 😂

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Vaccination advice

I’m really looking for advice and opinions on vaccines for my baby. I’m not against getting them but also just don’t feel like I know enough about them to make a decision just yet as I’ve had people say to me they don’t agree with them and they can cause issues etc… so I just want as much info as possible. What are everyone’s thoughts and experiences of vaccinating your child? I’m just interested to see everybody’s views (no judgement as I just want to know I’m doing the right thing) thank you x
