The rule of thumb is a layer more than you. I tend to do sleepers or pants and a onsie and layer with a blanket because my LO runs so hot. You can always layer and feel the back of his/her neck or chest to find out if they are warm enough or too hot.

I do a sleepers if I’m taking her out with her hat on. Screw dressing her cutesy, I want her to be cozy but not overly fluffy. If it snows then I’ll put her little teddy bear suit over her normal clothes and make sure I don’t leave her in it for too long.

We do coveralls for outside but make sure the layers are as thin as possible so a fleece coverall. I hear some people do fleece sleepers. If you use a car/car seat you just gotta remember puffy layers or thick layers are not safe

I do sleepers with a hat and cover her with fleece blanket, she’s only outside for 2 mins max so she’s okay but if I’m using my carrier I’ll put her in the monkey suit cause I’d typically be outside walking if I’m using her carrier

I layer a under onesie then his shirt and pants
