Idk who promised you 6 months lol probably the same people who tell you, you can't get pregnant if you EBF lol Got my period back 4 w PP while EBF with my first and around 6 w with my second. My mom said with all four kids she got hers back 8weeks PP at the latest and she EBF all of us
I got mine at 6 months but I had it for a week and really heavy
With my first I was EBF until she was 19 months, got my first period just before she turned two. I thought it’ll be the same with my other babies but nope period was back by 3rd month even while EBF 😭😭
@Susan it's crap!! I mean we're fine if we get pregnant again soon, but I least wanted to wait for the POSSIBILITY until he was on some solids first

Yeap I got mine back at 2 months exactly. I bled for 6 weeks pp, then turned round and got my period two weeks later. It sucked big time. Same thing happened with my second too.
With my singleton I believe it came around 5 months with my twins it came after a year then stopped and I recently had one a few weeks ago where something pretty large came out of me, there was also clotting and it was painful not sure what all is happening but I’m going to see my ob. My period has been irregular after twins
@Courtney I was flabbergasted! I called my Dr bc I thought something may be going on but according to my period tracker, she picked up right where she left off 😂😂

I got mine at six weeks postpartum! We’re all different! And don’t forget, this is why our medical practitioners encourage us to have a contraception plan!
8 weeks 🙃 Everyone in my family got their periods back once they stopped breastfeeding except for me

7 months PP for me. I think it comes back when baby starts going longer stretches of 6 hours or more overnight without feeding. I’d be gutted with 3 months tho 😭

First baby I got one at two months caused by birth control, then not again till around 9 months. This time I refused birth control but it came back at two months. She does sleep better at night then my first so maybe thats a thing?
