what bottles for baby cereal

my 6wk old is struggling with reflux really bad. our dr today suggested baby cereal mixed with breastmilk in a bottle. we use the evenflo balance but also have dr browns but it wouldn’t come out of either of those with size 1 nipple. i’m nervous size 2 would be too fast of a flow for her but i don’t know what other bottles would work for baby cereal.

@Polly i agree 6 weeks seems early, but i did find a reddit post saying a lot of other people’s pediatrician recommended the same thing at the same age to help. it makes me extremely nervous for that reason but i figured id try all of her suggestions to try to help my baby not be in pain 😅. luckily we have a chiropractor appointment friday so fingers crossed that helps. we’ve seen a lactation consultant multiple times because she wouldn’t latch very well but they didn’t help really at all so we had to completely switch to exclusively pumping, but my oldest had a slight lip tie that i didn’t even know about until he was 2+ when we switched doctors so i did a lot of my own research on tongue/lip ties and im almost positive she doesn’t have one but ill have them check again when we go back!

My pediatrician suggested it with my 5 week old. He said with his 3 kids, he started it at 1 week old. He also suggested I use a spoon instead of bottle. I have only fed him cereal once and it was a only little bit because I was scared 😅 I will try again probably here soon

@Gracie did it seem to help your baby at all?
