When to start buying Baby Stuff?

As a first time mommy I’m not sure when to start buy stuff. When did you guys start?

I started buying things around 20 weeks. I don’t think there is ever a perfect time to start, it all depends on you. I know I felt like I couldn’t start buying stuff until later because it ‘felt too soon’ but in retrospect, I could have started sooner to make things easier. I prioritised buying the important things that I would need as soon as she was born like a car seat capsule and cosleeper/bassinet and got all the small cluttery things slowly throughout. Goodluck! 🥰

with my first i waited until i was in the 2nd trimester. with this one, i started buying immediately. buying things here and there all throughout the pregnancy makes it easier vs trying to buy everything at once. in my opinion.

Start your registries, save money, buy after your baby shower, some people will gift you things that weren't on the registry but are still helpful, once you get everything that was gifted buy off your registries for discounted prices. Some registries when you buy within 90 days before or after duedate there are certain percentage off

Around the start of the second trimester with my first. Immediately after we found out the gender of my second I already bought him a bunch of clothes bc he's our first boy and I'm so excited

For the first we bought the big things around 14 weeks. We also moved to our house around that time and combined furniture shopping with it otherwise i might have waited. The nursery was completely done by 20 weeks. We didn’t have a shower due to Covid and bought everything ourselves. For the second one we will wait until after the baby sprinkle (around 30w) even though I might get a cute outfit or two 🩷

I started around 13 weeks :)
