Deep latch
Anyone else’s baby get into a deep latch for roughly 30 seconds and then loses it and can’t get it back again?

@Jen no I haven’t, who would I speak to about that? Doctor? health visitor? Midwife? Xx
Yes but baby had tongue tie and I have slightly flat nipples so it’s a challenge! If you are concerned about latch, definitely speak with your health visitor who can do a referral for an infant feeding team and/or request a tongue tie assessment x

Did you check to see if the baby has a tongue, lip, or cheek tie? It can def affect how they latch. I couldn't breastfeed my 4th bc he had a bad lip and tongue tie, and he needed the laser treatment when he was 2 months old. I wasn't making enough to support him by that time.
