Thickener
My baby started on SMA alfamino end of December and has only this week started to show reflux symptoms. Arching his back, coughing lots, lying down on his back he gets upset and this morning just threw up on me which he has never done. My question is, can we just buying something like Carobel over the counter or should we speak to the doctor first?
I’ve looked online and you can just buy it?

@Emma-louise just found a pharmacy that sell it so heading there in a min! How long does it take to kick in?
@Rachael I bought carobel. It stopped my daughter being sick immediately. It also stopped her spitting half the bottle out 🤦🏼♀️
I’ve been using gaviscon for my little one and it’s massively helped.
I just bought it. My gp is crap and it would have taken too long to get in touch with my hv etc (she has sorted everything to do with the milk) I spoke to her about it after and she said it was the right thing to do
