I’m starting mine at 37 weeks but I work from home x I’m due 10th xx
I’m due 20th April and starting my official mat leave on that day, but taking 3 weeks holiday prior, so finishing work end of March x
I am due 10th and I finish work on the 4th at the moment xxx
@Niamh-Grace I’m also due 10th ! X x
I’m due 26th and starting Mat leave on 20th x
I’m working until my due date (actually 2 days after!) but I will fully work from home for the last month.
I'm due 19th was gonna have a weeks annual leave or something before baby arrives / starting mat leave but conscious could come a couple of weeks late ha .. don't wanna be twiddling thumbs waiting for too long
I’m due 17th April as well. My mat leave is starting on that day but then using my holiday so that my last day will be mid March x
I’m due 22nd April and planning on finishing the 11th and taking holiday until due date. As there is Easter bank holiday before I want to be paid for the bank holidays now instead of saving them for after baby as I will still have the remainder of my allowance to carry over to 2026
I’m also due on the 17th April and I’m taking mine from the 24th February to give me that extra time to prepare
I’m due 17th too! I’m starting maternity at 36 weeks as having a c section at 39. X
I’m using annual leave week 36-38then starting mat leave officially on week 39, which is the week I’ll have my section.
Use as much of you annual leave up first then take MAT leave
I left at week 35 of pregnancy as I wanted a couple/few weeks to just rest before the madness. (Had elected c section at week 39)

@Taaylor yeah I’ve used all my holidays currently have a week left so will use that before I leave if I knew I was going to be expecting I would of saved more🫣
I think it depends on how physically demanding your job is / commute etc. I left work just before 35 weeks and don’t think I couldn’t done longer! It’s been great to rest and chill before baby gets here!
I'm due 16th and starting leave on 16th unless they come early as I have school holidays 2 weeks in the run up to due date! So worked out quite well as I'll actually stop working at 38 weeks. If I struggle or need to go earlier I will just get Dr to sign me off I suppose?
I'm due on the 25th April and my mat leave starts on the 1st April. I just wanted a few weeks to make sure I had everything in place and double/triple check my hospital bag etc
Due on the 25th April. Taken 2 weeks holiday 7th-20th. Then 21st start mat leave.
I'm taking a month off before my due date because of so many remaining holidays.
I’m due 2nd April and hopefully going off on 28th March… wish me luck 😂
Due 25th, starting mat leave on 23rd. But work in a school and Easter holidays so finish on 4th April, but I’ll have a c section in between x
I'm due on 9th April and finishing on 28th February with 2 weeks annual leave beforehand. So I'll be 34 weeks when I finish but I'm so mentally checked out now I can't wait to finish!!
@Elizabeth me too I cannot wait to be finished work😩
Due on the 28th April, starting Mat leave on the 14th with 3 week holidays starting 20th March, so I’m off from then. I have a lot of annual leave to take plus I’m moving house soon. I wanted to have enough time to sort myself out.
Finishing 2 weeks before DD. Stopping going into the office at 36w. Worked really well last time and felt prepped going into the birth. Good luck!
Due to the amount of money I will lose I don’t plan on starting my mat leave till last week of march im due 1st April x
