Brown discharge in early pregnancy

Im in my 6 weeks, I saw doctor and had vaginal ultrasound couple days ago, it’s still early, and I have appointment 4 weeks from now, since then I have brown discharge everyday, it’s just a small flow, but I’m sick worried, this is my first baby, has any mom experience the same thing and have a healthy pregnancy? Please share your experience with me! It will help me a lot! Thank you

I had the exact same, from 5 weeks. I was given a week’s worth of progesterone which helped, but it then came back again at 8 weeks, so was put on progesterone until 16 weeks. I never spotted at all when on progesterone. I am now due on Weds with a healthy pregnancy x

I had brown discharge at 6-7weeks as well. However it stopped after the next day. When I googled it it was implantation bleeding As long as ur not cramping or having back pain If ur still sick with worry call your OBGYN

I had brown old blood on few occasions with both pregnancies early on x

I would say, go to the day centre unit and get a blood test if it doesn’t stop over the weekend. Try not to worry though as I had this the whole way through my pregnancy. Also as you just had a vaginal scan sometimes you get some old blood as you’re very sensitive up there right now so on insertion or when they’re moving it around it could have burst a small blood vessel or the friction on the tissue. As it’s brown it’s old blood so should clear up in a few days. Hope this helps x
