I had this in second trimester on one of my pregnancies and they put it down to a probable old haematoma. But I was scanned each time it happened and had to have my anti D injection just in case (only if you’re o rhesus negative). Xxxxx
I would call your triage at the hospital and ask to go get checked over to be safe. Just because it's brown doesn't necessarily mean it is OK so best to be safe. I hope everything is OK xx
If it’s brown I wouldn’t worry too much (old blood rather than new) - if it was bright red I’d be more concerned. It could be baby moving lower down and putting pressure down there. If your really concerned though you could ring triage to see what they say x
