First time mum here and my little one is 18 months old now and I was wondering when do you start potty training. I understand all children develop at different stages but on average what age should the potty be introduced.

It was many years ago but my mum trained all four of us at 2 years.
I’m waiting til around 2 because it’ll be warmer so he can run around with just pants or nude for those first few days training! X

We have a potty out now but she stands in it or plays with it 😂 but it's just so she gets used to it being around and then hopefully after her birthday give it a try. Like above said, it'll be ideal in the summer xx

Same as fay , when my boy his 2 I will start x

I will start when he asks to use the potty.

Following as I feel like my girl is starting to be more aware of the toilet these days , at least for number 2s. I do think it sounds much easier to start potty training when the weather is warmer though, like mentioned above 🙂
I also listened to this really helpful podcast https://open.spotify.com/episode/6hNp3rRObrg36BgiWsrEnv?si=55IUZ1_gSjqDgYMucZEgmw

We have the potty out and she usually joins me in the toilet 😅
When she is in the toilet and needs to poo, she js really good at sitting on the potty to poo so I let her do so (with the diaper on). When she is motivated and I am I remove her diaper and she successfully pooed in her potty multiple times. I would just ask if she wants to remove her diaper and if she says yes, then I ll let her do so.
I ll wait for warmer days to do full on potty training, but she now sometimes ask to go on the potty by herself (sometimes to play, sometimes to poo 😅) I find it harder to train for pee, as if I don't remove the diaper I cannot ever be sure if she peed or just played, hence why I started offering her to remove the diaper 😂
