@Jewelz 🤣🤣 sorry thats too funny hahaha, curious why they start doing this.. my daughter started about 3 months ago and still going on 😅
I believe someone said they are becoming aware of their mouths if that makes sense
@Kiya yes definitely, but does it take longer then 3-4 months? Feels like she is getting comfortable with her face like this 🤣
My little one sticks his tongue out cheekily these days, apparently it’s because they’re more curious about exploring their surrounding using & developing all senses 🫶🏻
My little sister did similar- she chewed hers whilst she was concentrating- still does now she’s nearly 30 😆
My 2.5 year old still randomly sticks his tongue out like that lol it'll be a while before they grow out of it
Hahah sounds all great, gotta enjoy it then 😂😂
I used to do this when I was little, my lo does it too I even catch myself now doing it, for me it’s when I’m concentrating on something don’t even notice I’m doing it.
@Chloe hahaha when she is concentrating, her tongue comes out all the way 🤣 it looks funny but wasnt sure if i had to be concerned
His started when I kept asking what’s in your mouth. So he showed me it’s nothing. So now he does it when he’s being cheeky. But I do think it’s their oral fixation learning their mouth. Because he started giving kisses and making the sound with it as well. But the ahhhhhh with the 👅 out is tooo cute and funny.
My little boy used to do this all the time. Every photo had his tongue out! He's grown out of it now though 🤣
It could also just be a thing she likes to do when focusing. My dad will always have his tongue out a bit when he’s focused. He did hurt himself badly once during a soccer match when he bit down hard 😅
My son started doing this as well But he’ll do the scream face from scary movie. He s never seen it before
