It’s normal! You should ask your OB to refer you to a Pelvic floor PT. It helped me a lot. If your insurance doesn’t cover it then look up Pelvic floor exercises

@Tiffany I’m from the uk so guessing it will be free probably will just take their time referring me , I’ll definitely ask my midwife when I see her Monday xx

I did prenatal yoga to help as well to loosen and move your body. You can find some stuff on YouTube as well to do at home. Taking warm baths and doing exercise not just sitting helped as well. I’m also experiencing hip and back pains on and off through this pregnancy, I found the way I slept or sat could trigger my back pains. I try to be cautious to sleep with a straight spine, adding pillows between my knees or something along those lines. Hope you feel better soon!

Hope it helps! I got myself a yoga ball to help with my pelvic floor stretches too. I would do it when I’m watching tv. It helped with lower back pain & sciatic nerve

TENS unit

32+6 … I spoke to my GP about this exact issue and I’ve been referred for physio x
