Sneak Peek accuracy?

Has anyone taken this test? Is it even accurate? Worth paying for? I’ve seen lots of mixed reviews where some folks say it was accurate and others say the male DNA contamination could cause false boy results. We might wait to get NIPT testing, but it’ll definitely be a struggle to wait till week 20!

You just need to clean the area in your home you will be doing it in really good before hand and then make sure no males are around. Also make sure no make animals are around. As long as done in a clean environment then it will cut back the false results.

I got it done at a lab to avoid contamination and because blood totally grosses me out. I’m only 8w so I haven’t gotten genetic testing done to confirm its accuracy but my friends who have gotten the test got accurate results. But yeah I think just be careful and aware of contamination and theoretically it should be accurate. Otherwise I just found a local lab (boutique ultrasound place) that did it.

If you clean properly it’s accurate 99.9% of the time and they’ll refund you if it’s wrong. It was correct for our first (boy) and we’ve taken it this time and it’s said girl, so my experience has always been positive.

I did it at 6 weeks and it said its a boy. Im 9 weeks now and go for my NIPT in the beginning of February so ill find out next month if it was right.

I did it for my last pregnancy and a few weeks ago for this one. Both were correct! I was super careful about cleaning and following the directions. I suggest the snap version.

Mine was accurate but why not just wait until you get blood test from dr
