Anyone else good walker but not a talker?

My son's gross motor skills are advanced, but he has 0 and I really mean ZERO words. At most I recognize some babbling he uses to complain and that's all. Please tell me I'm not alone.

My daughter says very little, but I’m not worried about it.

Our son barely says anything but is super smart and understands what things are. My husband didn’t speak until he had a full sentence so I’m expecting the same from our son… not worried about it at this age though.

You are not alone. Not worried at all. Let him develop.

The pediatrician told me not to worry about it. He started saying dada early on but it seems like as soon as he started walking he wasn’t really interested in saying words and he even stopped saying dada. The other day he finally said mama, but ir was just a one time thing lol. He does talk a lot but it’s more babbling than words.

My baby's the exact same way, but she can also follow basic directions... usually, they seem to focus on one or the other... walking or talking... I see a theme, lol 😆
