Sorry didn’t mean to hit send yet. If I tried to put her in a crib it was hours of rocking just for her to wake up when I set her down. With my second bed rails have saved me. I never wanted to leave my first in the bed alone but now I have my oldest do a quiet activity while I nurse my second in the bed and then get up once he falls asleep and we have the mesh bed rails incase he rolls and I watch him on the monitor.
Don’t battle him for sleep. I know you’re tired but if you are struggling for hours put him down to play and go make yourself a cup of tea and just sit for thirty minutes.
