Sitting up at night

Does anyone else’s little one wake up after their first sleep cycle every night? I know the first part of the night is when the big chunk of sleep is meant to be my daughter will literally sit up in her cot or floor bed after 45-1hr every night and need me to go in and either cuddle or feed her. On the odd occasion she will do 2 hours but it’s rare. It’s not really false starts as she will be straight back to sleep but she just can’t lay back down once she’s sat up.

My LO sits up and cries and needs intervention (sometimes just dommy back, sometimes cuddles, sometimes 2h of rocking and shhhing) multiple times a nights. I don't know if there are times he wakes and then manages to lie down and go back to sleep by himself

Yes pretty much every single night!

@Hannah glad there’s someone who understands! Do you feed to sleep? Do they sleep better after that first wake?

Yes almost every night

Yeah I always feed to sleep. She used to sleep a bit better after the first wake but not anymore! We’ve been waking hourly for weeks🥱

The same here. I thought I was the only exhausted one. It's been weeks of this. Mine is breastfed, and she practically is non-stop during the night with my breasts in her mouth. I don’t know how much more i can take of this. I am a single mum, and it's exhausting .

My little girls does the same, she’ll stand up crying and ill have to go in and lay her down and give her her comforter back

@Bianca yes I breastfeed a lot in the night still. It’s so exhausting! Sounds like you’re doing an amazing job though 💜

I have Alexa in LO room so when this happens I pop on some white noise and he resettles
