Activity Centre & Weight Restrictions

So I’ve been looking to get an activity centre for my LG and I was just about to purchase either a Fisher Price or Einstein one but noticed in the warnings it said max height 76cm and max weight 11kg and only from 6m+. Now my LG is turning 6m tomorrow, she is EBF and healthy, but a bit chubby weighing 10kg / 22lbs already! Meaning I’d probably only get a month (if that) for her to enjoy the seat part of the centre! I was hoping I could put her in it whilst preparing food / house work as it’s more mobile than her mat, and she’s outgrown her bjorn bouncer - which was a life saver while it lasted. Anyone had a similar problem / could offer solutions / or know of any activity centres with a higher max weight threshold? Pic of my LG for ref. Thank you 🙏🏽🤎

https://www.mamasandpapas.com/products/baby-snug-and-activity-tray-4126l7500 we've just bought one of these, keeps him entertained and you can take the insert out when your little one is bigger, although my lb has worked out if he tugs on the toys really hard he can pull the tray off so not sure how long it's going to last.

Just to say I have a very similar baby to you, 9.8kg at 5 months 71cm tall. We have the mamas and papas bug chair and he is almost too big for that - it does have a removable insert but you can’t really use it without the insert at this stage because it has extra support between the legs - I don’t think they recommend removing it until they are older and Iv read that it shouldn’t be used as a floor seat without that insert. So no help for suggestions as I’m on the lookout too but the above suggestions may also be a bit too snug for your baby. FYI the baby Einstein aeroplane jumperoo has a max weight of 12kg not 11 which could be some sort of option.

@Harriet thank you for sharing that! It’s great to have all that info, being in a similar position as me with my LG. Maybe I’ll stay clear of the floor seats! I’ve wasted so much money buying her stuff and it being used for a few weeks or a month max because of her growth, height- and weight- wise. I’ll definitely look at the Einstein Jumperoo! Hoping she doesn’t put on 2kg in a month lol 😂 x

@Jess maybe see if you can pick up a second hand one on FB marketplace or Vinted, that way if she only uses it for a couple of months, you can just sell it on/ give it away x
