Nursery shopping list

Just a question for those who already sent their little ones for nursery what are the things that you had to buy specifically for nursery ? I heard some nurseries require outdoor shoes which I was getting for her anyway but what are other things that I should purchase? Just like to get things done before we start ☺️

Cheap clothes/outfits that you don’t mind getting a little dirty or stained, food, paint, being outside etc. I bought darker coloured stuff, multipacks etc. Might want to think about how you’ll name her things. I use stick in name labels for both of my children. I used to send my eldest with a puddlesuit when it was wet, and wellies. My youngest doesn’t walk yet though, so I haven’t bought that this time round just yet. A duplicate of any comforter item she might have already that you plan to send her in with.

@Chloe which name labels do you use please? I need to get some for my little one

@Laura Petit Fernand- they’re brilliant!

I asked my nursery for a list of what to bring... they said x3 changes of clothes, hat (summer or winter), shoes or if LO isn't walking yet then the rubber sole sock shoes so that when they're outside they've got something a little more sturdy then just socks or booties, A puddle suit. They also mentioned dribble bibs if needed, maybe a sleeping bag if thats what they have their naps in, and any comfort items. I use a name stamp that I bought off Amazon, its really good!

I work in a nursery and my little one goes to mine. I just make sure he has spare clothes, hat, coat, shoes. Nappies wipes cream (that's if your nursery doesn't have them) i would name everything because unfortunately things do get lost.
