Help!
So I’m in lower westchester, I’m in between jobs unfortunately my job let me go this week bc they can’t afford to keep me and I’m in the process of interviewing for another job but I need emergency assistance with my rent and electric bill I get foodstamps from dss would they be able to help me ? I just moved in last month with my daughter after being displaced for 3 months

If it’s lower Westchester, is your food stamps case with a city/town in Westchester? If so reach out to your local social services department.
@Nuni is homebase for westchester or nyc? I haven’t heard of it and is it a long process if you know?
I’m not sure about the process but homebase helps with emergency rental assistance and I would call dss about help with the electric bill
