Depo injection

How long after coming off the depo injection did people get pregnant? I have come off it as the nurse said it can take 9month - a year. I was only on it for 9 month (3 injections) I know everyone is different but was wondering if some people got pregnant sooner. Incognito as family member on here.

My last injection was In June 23, fell pregnant jan 24 x

It definitely took me a year

It took me over a year, about a year & 1/2

I’m on Depo atm and a lot of people have told me it can even take up to 18 months to get pregnant again

Why would the nurse say it takes up to 9 months to a year? Like what actual evidence does she have to support that? Never heard it before

Well, I wasant on depo, i was on yasmin for 12 years and forgot to take them (1st time in 12 years) and said will do 1 month break as is less likely to get pregnant so quick as it takes a while to get my ovulation back.. guess what is 05:51 and BF a 2 months old 😅

Mine hadn’t started back but I changed to evra patches which you change once a week and that restarted them

@Jessica how does the patch effect fertility? Does it come back quickly after you take them off?

Birth control doesn’t affect fertility at all. You may take time to have your regular cycle and sometimes ovulate, but it should not affect fertility and any window of time is purely anecdotal
