How to stop BF

I'm going incognito as I feel this may be a silly question... 😂 I'm trying to stop breastfeeding and have managed to get down to just one feed (one boob) per day in an evening. This means I'm feeding 48 hours apart on each boob. I'm looking to stop altogether as I don't feel my daughter particularly needs it - she eats OK and will drink cows milk. She will feed for 2-3 minutes for the one feed of the day. My question is... How do I stop altogether? I feel like for the amount she's feeding I probably could just stop but one boob does feel slightly fuller after the 48 hours. I had mastitis in hospital after I gave birth and I'm scared that if I just stop I'll end up getting it again 🙈 any tips from anyone who's stopped? Thanks 😅

If you either over the next few days stop her going on the or if you feel like you can just stop if they get to uncomfortable then just hand express a little bit you want to stop the body thinking you need it so any stimulation it will produce

In terms of baby gal we just switched to bottles & it was fine (luckily) although we did have a challenge with bottle… we’ve never physically held the bottle to feed her 🫣🤣 only when she could hold herself. So stopping boob wasn’t an issue. For the boobs sake - it sounds like you’re basically there. I would just leave them now.. I mean if after a few days they are a little sore, you could express a wee bit. But I doubt you would get mastitis now from how little milk you have. 🤍✨ good luck! Xxx P.s I don’t think it’s a silly question! ♥️ Xxxx

Thank you both for your advice ☺️
