What is considered a wet nappy?

I just switch from combination feeding to 100% breastfeeding cause my 7w baby refuses bottle. Since I do breastfeeding, I am not sure if she gets enough milk and I notice her nappy isn’t as heavy as it was. I still changed nappies 6 times a day but it’s so confusing what is considered a wet nappy. She is breastfeeding only 5-10 mins both breasts and she isn’t crying at all

Do you have nappies with indicators on? If the nappies has an indicator it turns blue when it's wet and you change them. If you are using reusable nappies then I would assume just any out put of wee is wet. We are doing like 10 nappies a day though easy.

@Robyn yes i use pampers which has indicator but it’s not full blue line. It’s kinda 3/4 blue and 1/4 yellow

Can you pour some water into a dry nappy to give you an idea of what it should look/feel like? It is tricky sometimes especially if they poo a lot but it sounds like you’re changing them a good amount of times. Maybe go along to a breastfeeding support group to get your latch checked and make sure you’re happy with how you’re feeding, they will also be able to give you support and advice with everything

@Olivia yeah if it starts to change colour at all it's wet and they need changing 😊
