Pacifier

My baby is nearly 8 months old and he is still taking pacifier while sleeping and somewhere it’s his teething period. My concern is he keeps in his mouth for long term coz he sleeps 10 hours at night and I really want him to discard it please suggest is it fine or I should do something for it.

Mine is 7 months having the same issue he needs it for sleep

I’ve heard it’s recommended up to 1 year as it helps prevent SIDS !

Ok I got it.. but is it responsible for wrong shape of teeth ?

I got some orthodontic approved ones to hopefully prevent that !

Ok could you please send me the link of the same pacifier ?

Ok I got it.. dear I have few like this but now my baby is very much comfortable taking the other one. I tried to give him orthodontic one but it automatically slips out of his mouth. It’s actually my mistake I shouldn’t have given the normal pacifier to him. I wasn’t aware 🙁

My little one was hesitant to take it at first too ! We just kept giving it to her and now she takes it no problem ! It did take a couple of weeks. If you want to stop all together, I have seen kits by frida mom that make the pacifiers smaller so you can stage your little one out of using a paci all together !
