C section

Has anybody on here opted for a c section due to fear of labour? I've had 3 natural labours and this pregnancy has thrown everything at me and I've been in hospital 3 times lately for severe pains not wanting to go through it again. So thinking of opting for c section.. anybody else done this?

I’ll say I found my section much worse had 1 section and 2 naturals, the recovery I found hard not driving, the pain is so bad getting out of bed I had to have help in and out for the first week or so, and I bled a lot heavier after my section in recovery and also for 6 weeks after, I personally way preferred my naturals! Trying for another one now x

Not a C-section - I’ve had a vaginal delivery but had an epidural. Didn’t feel a thing and after birth I was able to just get up and walk, skip, jump… so there’s always the pain relief options rather than having major abdominal surgery if it’s due to fear of pain? But do whatever is going to put your mind at ease :)

I didn't think of that, will bear that in mind :)

I’m opting for one at 41 weeks if I don’t go before, have birth options appointment tomorrow to book in. I went at 39 last time so high chance I’ll never make it that far but I’ve categorically said I’m not being induced so C would be only other option. I’ve heard some wonderful planned C stories!

I’m doing this. Since being around 35 weeks pregnant I’ve had this overwhelming fear of labour so I’ve opted for a section at 40 weeks if I don’t go before
