Cabin approved pram counts as carry on luggage/cabin bag otherwise it will have to go in the hold
@Vicky im flying with Ryan air and easy jet
@Jessica so does that mean I wouldn’t be able to have hand luggage for my daughter
@Erin yes it would. If you have 3 pieces of hand luggage (cabin bags) then the pram counts as 1, if you just have small hand lugged ie backpacks that need to go on the floor you won’t be able to take it on. EasyJet and Ryan air charge for actual hand luggage so make sure you understand what you have booked xx You can always put it in the hold for free though
@Jessica so it was just small hand luggage that goes on the floor but I’ve swapped mine and paid for actual cabin luggage and kept my daughters for the small hand luggage, can you pay extra for pram in the cabin if I want my daughter to still have small hand luggage
@Erin I’m honestly not sure you’d have to give them a call. Also double check your pram measurements for both airlines I think Ryan air is slightly smaller, I’ve not had an issue with any airline and I have the yoyo not sure about other brands x
@Jessica I haven’t yet brought a cabin approved stroller but it’s something I want cause it’s the most ideal for us travelling by ourselves to be able to take it on board etc
From experience it’s impossible to travel with a toddler only on hand luggage. I would just pay for 1 x checked in luggage then you and your husband can take 1 x case of toddler stuff, a peak and then a backpack of toys, snacks and your passports/adjoin etc
Yes who are you flying with? Most airlines let you take 2 additional items for children. We've always taken our pram as an extra xx
