Don’t be too hard on yourself- it’s all a process to get elements of a pre baby body back but it’s probably years rather than months. Maybe set yourself two goals each week really small like some steps, good hydration electrolytes, vitamins etc or even something not weight related like make time to go get a hair cut or something that feels purely like care just for you. You will probably get closer to your goals if you are extra patient and kind to yourself ❤️ I’ve got a pelvic floor pt on an app which I’m really enjoying so maybe aim to follow a few folk that talk about small things you can do in the home. Be kind to yourself you’ve done an incredible thing, whatever your goals are you can achieve ❤️🫶

I LOVE snacking and not even because I’m hungry I just enjoy eating so people telling me to eat more filling meals doesn’t work I just love a lil snack 😂. I try having lots of healthy snack options, pop chips low in cals, apple thinly sliced so feels like it’s taking longer to eat, carrots a hummus etc. I was 62kg before and up to 76kg already and 4 months to go so feel like I’ll probably get to 83 easily before the baby comes! Also if I know I wanna snack regardless I try make my meals a bit smaller (most of my meals are about 700-800 cals normally so reducing to 600 is still a decent sized meal)

I love snacking too and I like to have a sweet treat and a bag of crisps on the sofa in the evening and there's no point me trying to stop that because I will fail or be miserable so I just accept it and find ways to have it but still be in a deficit. Eating more protein definitely helps me feel fuller for longer and for me personally, I have to eat something every couple of hours or hunger takes over and I make bad decisions so just 3 large meals isn't an option for me. I've just accepted this and found ways to make it work. The only way I've successfully lost weight is by accepting things that I cannot change about myself without making myself miserable and working with them. This way I'll stick to my calorie deficit rather than giving up after a couple of weeks

With regards to exercise, I have big ideas but rarely end up finding the time to actually do them now with a toddler so I'm focussing on upping my steps for now until I figure something out. For instance, I just spent about 25 mins doing dishes and cleaning down my kitchen and just marched along to some music while doing it and added over 1000 steps. No extra time was needed, I'd have been cleaning the kitchen regardless. All those bits help and I'll start adding in workouts where I can. I also know that by doing the extra steps will eventually end up motivating me more to get proper workouts done

I am a pre and postnatal PT and work with mums on their nutrition. The best advice I could give would be to increase your protein in general. This will keep you fuller. I have a sweet tooth and also enjoy an evening snack, my current obsession is the my protein chocolate mousse 💪
