Struggling to find time with my little one

Our weekdays feel like a whirlwind—mornings start with breakfast and getting ready for work while our little one heads to nursery. After a long day, we come home, and I spend around two hours preparing dinner and planning meals for the next day, all while our tired little one is already winding down for the night. By the time we eat, it’s nearly bedtime at 8:30, and I feel like I barely get to spend any quality time with them. Weekends don’t feel much different, filled with cooking, cleaning, and chores. Moms, how do you manage it all?

Easier and quicker dinners, meal prep for the next day when he/they are already in bed, along with the housework and washing etc. also will be getting a cleaner back now I’m back at work. I do try to make sure the hours after nursery are reconnection time for both of my children, but it’s definitely a juggling act!!

Definitely quicker dinners, and alternate who cooks so the other one has one on one time with the little one. Whatever you can do to save time- great groceries delivered, get a cleaner one a fortnight if you can afford it. Dont be afraid to have fish fingers chips and beans now and again to make life easier, this intense period is short!

We do gousto for dinners 3/4 nights a week which is a lifesaver. We always pick the quick and easy recipes that are healthy but take max 20 mins to make. Recommend doing something like this if you can as really takes the pressure off!
