Went through the same with my first pregnancy and this one. I’m 12 weeks and I’m starting to feel better. With the last one I didn’t feel better till abt 5 months! I’ve not been able to leave the house for weeks now. Almost bedridden. I hope you start feeling better soon
@Mikayla @Esther I’m so sorry you both went through this and happy to hear things starting to feel better. Often people don’t understand me when I explain the severity of my first pregnancy, spitting blood, dropping 20+pounds, unable to keep anything down! The list goes on. But God is Gracious and faithful. It took about 20weeks for as me well, to feel better on my first pregnancy. Hope it won’t take that long this time around. so I can get back to taking care of my daughter. As much as I love being a mommy, another pregnancy I’m afraid will not be an option for my hubby and I. Thank you for sharing your experiences and kind comments. Encouraging! Stay strong! hang in there mamas!
@Merawit I also feel this way! My job keeps calling me to ask me when I’m coming back to work. I don’t think people quite understand that people go through this type of hell. I’m definitely not getting pregnant again. This is it for me!!!!! Hopefully this phase goes by fast for us! I’m counting every hour and I hate it ! Get well soon
I’m in exactly the same situation! 10 weeks with my second and I’ve also been in and out of hospital, barely getting out of bed for the last 6 weeks I’m on a mixture of ondansetron, stematil, restavit, vitamin B6 and ginger travel sickness pills all these plus weekly acupuncture have meant I’ve been able to start eating and drinking again and I can look after my son a few hours a day My first pregnancy I stopped vomiting constantly about 12 weeks and felt completely better by 20 so I’m hopeful it will be the same this time Hang in there!
