For my first, I just really liked the name Avery. For my second, I really love Gone With The Wind and knew that if I had another daughter I'd name her after Scarlett O'hara. As for my name, my mom was obsessed with soap operas and Robin Wright. So my mom named me after the character she played on Santa Barbara, Kelly Capwell, but preferred the spelling of Kelli. My dad did want to name me Nicky but my mom was having none of it so my middle name ended up being Nicole.
My name is from a TV show when my Mam was a kid 😂 My son's name it just came up from no where to be honest we were going through like normal names just spit balling them and James just stuck. My daughter's name I always loved it before I knew the gender of my son I seen it in a service station on my way down to Birmingham for a shopping trip 😂 and I wrote it down in my phone, it was Isla 🥰
We came up with a running list throughout my entire pregnancy, but knew nothing was set in stone until we saw our little one’s face (: the name our son ended up with was only briefly mentioned like once throughout my pregnancy but it fit him so well (:
My mom wanted my name to be Lauren because she loved it, but my dad had a crazy ex with that name, so she decided to name me after her mother but with a twist. Her mother's name is Renate(re-na-tuh), and I'm Renee. My husband is named after his grandfather and great grandfather so he's the 3rd. I didn't want my son to have that name so I told him to think of names and I'd say say yes or no to them(we also decided he would name if a boy and I would name if a girl). I only ended up liking 2 names he chose😅 ended up going with Noah.
For my first we agreed on his name we both loved it (Remmi) but originally he was supposed to be named after my husbands grandfather however I wanted our first baby to have his own name Our second (33 weeks pregnant with him name Calvin) is my husbands grandfathers name. They both have my maiden name (Rodriguez) as a middle name. My name was just chosen randomly by my aunt means breeze in Spanish and my middle name is my grandmas (Guadalupe 😅😂)
1st came to me while I was driving, like an epiphany! 2nd I trawled every book & website. 3rd was the unused girl name from 2nd but I had gone deep down a rabbit hole of name variations after hearing a similar name. Much contemplation! My mum liked my middle name & dad like my first. They couldn’t agree so dad had said to go with mums but mum registered me with his preference without saying anything. The name my sister liked for me she used for her daughter many years later ☺️
My mum wanted to name me after her 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ no idea why 🤦🏼♀️🤣. I really wanted to call my daughter Jupiter or my son hunter just because I love them and they’re so unique not very common in the uk. But my partner wasn’t keen so we were messing around with names and cam up with layanna. From the day she was born her name suited her x
My name my parents were looking through a name book and just liked it My daughter I just woke up one day and knew that this baby’s name would be what it is My son… I still don’t feel like it’s the right name lmao
