Anterior placenta

Coming up to 24wks pregnant, only started feeling vvvvvv faint movement at around 22/23wks but it was quite consistent early morning & evening. The last few days I’ve barely felt anything, some days nothing & others it’s like once or twice? Is that normal with an anterior placenta or should I be concerned that movement is slowing down not becoming more prominent?

Hey! I have an anterior placenta and it hasn’t stopped me from feeling movements. I recently went to get checked out because the movements started to feel lighter and everything was fine. The midwife said that as long as I was feeling some movement light or not it was fine. I’m also 24 weeks. She says the baby is still small at this stage and doesn’t have a regular pattern of movement until 30 weeks. The baby may be kicking the amniotic fluid and you’re only feeling aftershocks. If you feel nothing however definitely go and get checked out ASAP. Best not to be worried and make sure all is good 🥰

Hey I'm 24 weeks on Saturday and have an anterior placenta. I struggled to begin with to feel movement and only started feeling about 20 weeks. I do now feel kicks and wriggles. I did go to triage the other day as baby had a quiet day then I felt nothing the next day apart from me having a good feel of my tummy lay down got abit of a wriggle so I went an got checked as I was worried, they did check baby's heart beat and have a good feel and all was good just baby was in an awkward position for me to feel anything but they said if it's the same the next day and I'm worried still then to come back but I was happy with how baby was moving the next day. If you're worried please always get checked x

Thank you! I’m quite a chill person & don’t want to be dramatic haha! Just wasn’t sure if it was normal for movements to feel reduced but I guess it is although like you said always best to get checked - I’ll see how I go tomorrow 🥰
