FET failed - question on progesterone

Hi I have just had a failed frozen transfer, wondering if any of you have experience with changing level of progesterone that you are on and if it impacted implantation? Reason I ask is they doubled my progesterone intake this time (I’ve had two other transfers outside of this, both took, first one led to miscarriage and the other led to my baby girl) I’ve had horrible side effects from the progesterone this time, night sweats, tummy issues, nausea etc and it failed and I guess I’m wondering if anyone else experienced similar? Really wondering why I need to be on double the dose, I really don’t think it agreed with me

Hi, so sorry for your failed FET, it is such a rollercoaster journey. I’ve had my progesterone increased in both successful and unsuccessful FETs. Lowering progesterone can cause a miscarriage. In later cycles I always had double the amount so not sure if it’s also something that declines with age?

Hey, so I was on a low dose of progesterone with my first FET which worked and gave me my son, they never checked my levels before transfer. This time they did check as they said that lower levels of progesterone have been linked with miscarriage and my progesterone was no where near high enough, very low so they increased dosage.. but never checked levels again. That transfer resulted in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. The third FET, checked levels again, although started on a high dosage of progesterone due to levels being lower last time, they STILL weren’t quite high enough so they made them higher, I’m now 30 weeks pregnant. I always wonder what my progesterone was the first time I had a successful FET but will never know. iVF consultant said they could have dropped significantly after my first pregnancy and been ok the first time… sorry it’s a long read, just my experience 😊

The doctor was explaining can’t be less then 73 nmol/l and my clinic told me I have to test every 3 days to control .
