Nursery outfits

Hi, My LO has 6-7 outfits that I rotate for nursery (goes in 3 times a week). Some have stains on them from nursery activities (not dirty, just paint stains etc). How many nursery outfits/clothes do you have that you send LO to nursery in? Bonus questions for anyone who has/is working in a nursery, how does nursery staff expect and prefer children to be dressed?

My son has a lot as he goes in 4 times a week - we do joggers, vest and long sleeve top. If they get stained I can’t help but bin them so don’t send in anything too nice. X

Mine goes nursery 5x week and I think we have 5 joggers and long sleeves we rotate and 2 spare in his bag

Same here Mine goes only two times but most of the times she comes with stains and i got tired of it so i just let her go with the same outfit (washed but still the paint stains are clear) and i just rotate Every month or so i get out more outfit and leave the stainy ones for home heh

We have multiple leggings/long sleeved tops we just rotate round, maybe 7-8 as she goes through lots of spares. If they have some stains we still use them until they just get too tatty or don’t fit. I’ve always been told they’d rather they go in whatever isn’t precious/expensive as things do get dirty/stained or sometimes get misplaced

My daughter is in 4 days a week and we probably have about 15 outfits. I’ve got tops and leggings and then thick tracksuits depending on the weather etc. We never seem to be on top of washing so I would rather have more and not run out!! I think nursery definitely prefer tops and bottoms as it’s easier to change them and switch out a top or a bottom if one gets stained or wet, and think that’s definitely the case for when they are potty training. I’ve not really ever sent her in in dungarees or dresses.

Mine is there full time and we don’t have separate nursery clothes. A couple have got stains from nursery but mostly they come back ok and my daughter is very insistent on ‘picking’ her clothes so it’s easier just to let her wear what she wants!
