Do you put shorts under your daughters skirts/dresses?

I don't have a daughter, but if I did she'd wear shorts under dresses/skirts every time.

definitely. they’re children and don’t need to be walking around with their diaper or underwear possibly showing

I still wear shorts under my dresses 99% of the time lol

Yeah it’s just necessary while they’re young, my girls are constantly doing kart wheels and judo moves and crap out of nowhere

No. That said my daughter will wear tights and cycling shorts under her school skirt/dress. Summers dresses no.

Yes tights or leggings in colder months and n the summer shorts

No, but only because she wears dresses because it’s impossible to find trousers/shorts that fit her tiny waist 😂

Yes, she does about a billion handstands a day so 🤣

what about adjustable waist trousers, my daughter is super tall for her age but slender.

why does she not wear them under summer dresses?

I don’t generally wear shorts under dresses unless they are short. It’s not something I think about. If it’s too short due to a growth spurt I’ll make her touch her toes and then say she needs to wear shorts. It’s not like she’s doing cartwheels and hanging from monkey bars. Bit different at school when they are cross legged on the carpet but again that’s her choice to wear them. It really depends on the dress. Obviously in winter she’s in tights.

Adjustable waist ones are hard to come by here and even they don’t always fit! Can get jeans and denim shorts alright but leggings and cycle shorts etc are a nightmare!

Yes! She always wear cycle shorts under her dresses and she wears them under her school dress too.

I understand that, I go for full length in her size and she where's them as ankle grazers though a few we have had to 3put a couple of stitches each side to take them in as she wears them at gymnastics.

If shes wearing thick tights no, if we are at home no, if we go out then yes every time x

It’s not even necessarily a predator thing although I know that’s a real threat, but it’s just because she’s a kid and she likes to move around and jump and play so it’s more than that
