Breastfeeding night feeds - advice to get baby to take more in a feed?

We’ve been getting a good 4-5 hours then first feed of the night my almost 6 month old feeds for maybe 7-8 minutes tops. She’s not emptying the breast completely but falls back asleep and I cannot wake her up to take more from either side. She’s then up every 2 hours tops and does the same thing each time. Does anyone have advice for getting her to take more? [[[Please don’t say pump bc I hate pumping. And she has a dairy allergy so combi feeding is a no go as the prescription formula is so nasty she won’t take that.]]] Sincerely one exhausted mama.

I have this problem too! Here are a few things that kind of help…. Changing her diaper between boobs, putting a wipe or cold rag on her, tickling her, making weird noises at her, playing a bright video on my phone

We changed diaper in between sides as well. Here for solidarity to say it does get better!!

Alternatively, you could try to soothe back to sleep without a feed ....making her hungrier at the next wake.

Thank you guys! I’ll try the diaper change 🙏 @Katherine yeah that’s what I’ve been trying but it’s like she Will not settle until she’s fed 😩
