I know a lot of people swear by the Frida brand or depends, but i actually preferred the always flexfoam pads and my own (granny) underwear. It made me feel more like myself and less like I was wearing a diaper.

So I did the Frida momma ones for loke a week. But as soon as I ran out I did Always flexfoam pads and my pregnancy undies I'd gotten that didn't go up high. Way more comfortable

I just bought post partum diapers from Amazon. Lol. And once the bleeding died down a bit I switched to a pad inside high waist undies.

Just get one pack of adult diapers in your size from the grocery store. You don't need bed pads or anything crazy. If you get home and need something else, get them after you know already know what you need. 🙂

Depends!!! And then once the bleeding went down I went to always flexform pads in my underwear

I have had three kids and have never used diapers/disposable underwear. I bought lil-lets maternity pads and my normal comfortable underwear. Never had issues, so it's totally up to you tbh. Whatever you feel most comfortable in.

I mostly wore period underwear and regular pads with underwear. I would wait to see how much bleeding you have. I had to have a C-section so maybe it wasn't as bad.

The Amazon brand ones were great for me, then I moved on to period pants - which I already own.

Why?

I am sick of my family telling me there’s something wrong with my baby.

She is almost 10 weeks old. She was born just under 1 month early.

She is my second child, my first born was a chilled baby. She is quite grumpy a lot of the time she does smile daily however. But she’s quite whiny and she has recently been really unsettled / fussy and been having some days where she has really bad crying episodes where she screams. For instance today she’s been fussy all day on her bottle, she did a poo mid way through one - so I stopped and placed her on her mat and noticed it had gone through the top of her nappy on to her sleep suit so I had to undress her and she literally screamed like I’ve never heard before to the point I wanted to cry! I proceeded to try and change her after picking her up to soothe her and again she screamed the place down and started sobbing. She’s quite a gassy baby she is always passing wind and has hiccups all the time also. But I am so sick of my family members telling me “she needs to be checked!” Or my mother saying “what’s wrong with her?” When she comes over and she cries. They said she’s more unsettled than settled always. And I can’t help but think why??? Is it something I’m doing? They are making me question everything and it’s making me feel like I’m heading in to a downward spiral. They make me question myself and my life. I’m just fed up.

Speech

Hi everyone I am just at such a loss here. My son isn’t saying any clear words. He has been in speech therapy since he was 16 months and was of course evaluated for autism but they didn’t see any signs of autism in him so that can’t be it. He does use some gestures and understands quite a bit. His little brother is arriving in August and I’m really hoping some words will come before then. Any one else experience this with their child before 2 and then words came??

Baby hitting themselves

Hey everyone, I hate going to Google because it just makes you feel very uncomfortable afterwards. My 18 month old has recently in the past week started to hit himself on the head with his hands and sometime in our play room foam floor he will hit his head against the ground. I googled (i know your not supposed to) and it said that it can be a sign of frustration of not being able to communicate. When he would hit himself i would obviously react and grab his hands and say no sternly. I dont know if my reaction has made it worse because it has become more frequent. He sometimes will go to hit me and once has went to go bite me. Can someone give me some advice.

Colic / reflux baby

Hi everyone, my little girl will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. I’m a first time mum and my girls really struggling with what we think is colic. When she was 2 weeks old she was sick while we was out and it was bright yellow and she screamed and was in so much pain so I took her to A&E and they said it was gastro colic. She went weeks without any symptoms but this last week she has been in constant pain and discomfort. She’s drinking around 5oz of cow&gate every 3-4 hours but is in pain while drinking and pain hours after the bottle. Night time she seems to be settled especially after a bath but in the day she won’t be put down. We have plenty of wet of dirty nappies and thankfully she hasn’t lost any weight. We currently use the mam anti colic bottles but have purchased the tommee tippee advanced anti colic to try and are wondering if to try her on some new milk like the Kendamil comfort? We’ve raised this issue with the health visitor but unfortunately got the “I told you breast is best” comment and got next to no advice, when we’ve spoke to the GP their response is to contact health visitor so at this point we are just going round in circles. She’s a very sicky baby and will projectile vomit all her bottle up at least once a day so feeds are very strict in the sense of keeping her upright while drinking & for at least 30 minutes after a bottle and paced feeding/ burping after so many OZs.

Any advice would be massively appreciated.

Circumcision question

So my son got circumcised before leaving the hospital he’s 3 days old and they told me the day after leaving to take it off which is today and just add a lot of Vaseline to the area to help it and when we took him to his pediatrician he told us to just keep adding Vaseline on top of the gauze and it’ll fall off on its own but now I’m worried that it’ll get stuck to his skin if it sits to long. What do you feel I should do
