My little one is almost 17 months. We go to swimming lessons once a week with children his age who are now his friends. We catch up for a play date with them once a week, and we go to playgroup once a week. Playgroup don’t really have children his age at the moment though. So two times a week, more if we plan other play dates.
3 days a week. He has baby bounce on 3 days already, and one more day I’ll try to see my bestie once a week she has one boy same age as my boy I met her when my baby was 8m at mothers group, I have met some mums from here in the last 3yrs some with same age kids some not, and some I’ve never met their kids coz they’re primary school aged (and at school when we meet or at night) but I’d say 3* a week.
Typically 2-4 times a week. My kids are 9, 6, & 2. We homeschool & have a bi-weekly co-op, a playgroup once a week, & then my older 2 attend a 6 hour science and nature class at a local farm.
Usually 3x a week my son is socializing.
Her age? Rarely, her cousins are either 3-4 years older or 2-4 years younger. But we try to make it to every family party, I try to hang out weekly or biweekly with our closest cousin even though they are 2 years apart so she gets some form of play and socialization and I’m considering t-ball this year for that and a group setting
We have groups 4 times a week and swimming once a week. On the days we don’t have group we aim for play dates, or some of her friends from group follow us home for lunch/play dates as we live very close to one of the centres.
My son is in school now, and that was his socialising he has done sport on and off (swimming, golf, karate). Before school, he went to preschool from the age of 3. Before then, we went to an early intervention playgroup and would go to the library story time or to soft play/play centres/ play areas in the shopping centres or to the local park i tried joining other playgroups but never felt welcomed. Nowadays, after school, my son has therapy or just rests from school he is exhausted after school on the weekends. We sometimes go out, just depending on everything. I'm also a very shy introvert who hates interacting with people. i can't even mask it i just feel awkward around people, and our happy place is home, so we stay home a lot.
Never really
During the summer we’re at the park like every day as long as it’s not raining. During the winter it’s a little harder so I enrolled my oldest intopart time preschool.it’s 2.5 hrs two mornings a week to give her some more socialization during the cold months, I’ll enroll my youngest when she turns 3 this year too
At least twice a week.
My two(3.5 yrs and 17 months) each do a swim class 1-2 times a week and each do a gymnastics class 2 times a week. We have church twice a week with lots of young ones in our congregation. We try and do meetups with our friends with kids a couple times a month and we go to the park a couple times a week too. We also have lots of kids on our street that play together. I will be homeschooling so getting them to have socialization is important to me.
We try to take our little boy out as much as we can. At least 2 or 3 times a week, I would say he socialises with other kids his age.
