I work in a nursery and went until nearly 37 weeks, at 26 weeks I was struggling and then somehow I found it easier a little after that! Hope you get that too
I am currently in year R and I’m really struggling physically and mentally at this point. Really hoping I get to that stage.
I teach Reception and went until 39 weeks but the last 3 weeks were out of the classroom because it was September and so my cover started with the new cohort. It’s definitely a demanding year group. Look after yourself and speak up for whatever you need ❤️
I work in a nursery, 28 weeks atm but really struggling! I’m going off at 32 weeks because I am just so physically and mentally drained! 😩
Hey I’m a TA in primary school and I’m due 6th of May, my maternity starts 22nd of April but won’t be back to school from 7th of April because of Easter break, I am struggling too literally can’t wait to go on maternity leave haha.
@Chloe honestly I feel you there, we have a mock oftsted tomorrow and I woke up feeling so lightheaded all day and basically broke down in tears just before home time today. Everyone is stressed, negative and I’m just so tired of hearing it. I am so tired xxxxxxxx
@Greta I think that’s exactly what I’ve put mine down as due the 13th May but I’m really struggling physically lol
Hi there, primary school teacher here. With my first I held on until 35 weeks. With my second 32 weeks because the pelvic girdle pain had me struggling to walk and the stress was causing baby to grow slowly. Definitely felt the difference teaching year 5 in my first pregnancy to teaching year 6 in my second. The stress level difference was out of this world. Teaching changed so much in 5 years
