Heavy periods
Since having my little boy 3 months ago my periods have been very heavy which they never used to be. I recently had the coil fitted but think it’s made them heavier which they said might happen. Did anyone periods go back to normal after baby?

@Catherine it is the copper coil and they did say they would be heavier but I didnt think it would be this heavy although only lasts for day a half maybe and eases off. Will see how I go
Which type of coil did you have? As i know the copper coil can make bleeding heavier. When I had the hormonal coil my periods stopped completely. My periods haven't come back yet but I remember my mum saying hers were heavier after having me, BUT the positive was she had barely any cramps anymore. Like, it was easier for the blood to come out afterwards so it came out faster but less painfully!
