Eddy is sweet! Is that his official name or nickname??
Official name x
I have loads of toddy’s which I always get when I go places always. I passed them to my daughter she’s now 11 months and god she does love a teddy and getting new ones. This is gonna sound rather childish but sometimes I can’t sleep with out a specific teddy.
I’m a teacher in Year R (4 and 5 year olds) and we have a Teddy. The name doesn’t feel babyish at all at this age so I can’t imagine it feeling that way for other ages either x
Our son is called Teddy 💙😍
I really like Edwin nn Winnie or Teddy, but I don’t think Teddy is unusable on its own.
@Ange I meant the name Teddy, but I also love to sleep with my childhood teddy - Big Bear ❤️
@Hannah do you come across a lot of Teddy's?
@Alison love it!
Teddy is his official name 🥰
Our friends have recently had a Teddy and our other friends have a Ted. Both are their official names. I'd say if you love it, then go for it. I've been teaching for 10 years, and I haven't taught a Teddy - yet! X
I’d go for Ted personally and nickname him Teddy when he’s a kid. Gives them an option to be more “grown up” when older. My cousin was Rosie but changed to Rose as an adult for that reason xx
I don’t think it’s too babyish, another option that’s sort of similar is Theo!
Pretty even split! 😂
My son is 4 weeks old and we called him Eddy! Wasn’t a fan of Edward either x
