Never 🙂

They never worked for me unfortunately I ended up giving up my breastfeeding journey and went to formula and I was not supplying enough for my girl 😕

Never, there’s no evidence they work

I liked these a lot! They're more like a no bake cookie https://lovejennyblog.com/recipe/peanut-butter-and-chocolate-lactation-energy-balls/

Never, didn't even know they existed 😂

Hey, I have spoken to breastfeeding help advisers in the past and they recommended focusing on a healthy balanced diet and drinking lots of water. They specifically told me that lactation cookies do not work and as another person has already stated there is not enough evidence to support that they help xx

Never, it's a waste of money. Hydration and demand is the best.

I just have a bag next to me for a quick, easy snack when I'm nap or boob trapped 😅

Oreos somehow increased my supply 😂

I tried just eating the ingredients in the cookies like flaxseed on my cereal and brewers yeast tablets and it made zero difference.

While there is no harm in having some yummy snacks to enjoy during those breastfeeding munchies, there is no evidence that certain foods or drinks increase your supply and in fact some of the suggested items (fenugreek for example) can actually have the opposite effect! It is best to ensure you have a healthy balanced diet, keep well hydrated, and remove milk. The most effective way to increase supply is to remove more milk. However I would recommend seeking support if you are worried about low supply or a dip in supply. If baby is feeding effectively, then supply should regulate, if it isn't, then it may be a signal that baby isn't feeding as expected, or that something else may be going on. Good lactation support is generally always the best option.
