Please help me understand

I’ve heard that you ovulate 14 days after your period. My question is 2 days after my period I get a lot of egg white discharge that lasts for 5 days. I assume that I am ovulating. Can ovulation occur that early?? Or it’s after 14 days?? Because I don’t even have that egg white discharge after 5 days so I’m confused!

It’s an average. Woman on an average 28 day cycle will averagely ovulate around day 14 of cycle, so this is 14 days from the first day of your period. But that’s not always the case because everyone’s different and that’s just an average. I’d recommend trying some LH strips as that will help you better predict ovulation, you could also start measuring your BBT every morning which can help confirm when you’ve ovulated.

I’ve had this before I even had a lh spike. False alarm though as it spiked again and my lh went back up and I ovulated that second time. X

It's different for everyone, some people ovulate right after their period You can get ovulation test strips to help you out too, if you get the lined tests you can download apps like premom that will tell you if the test is positive or almost positive
