My baby 19 months is exactly the same.

Saving for any advice! I am in the same boat. My daughter can tell me when she has to poop and that she is dirty but will not sit on the potty. The doctor said just to give it a few months and try closer to two

Do you have one of those floor pottys or are you placing her directly on the seat with nothing else? We got one of those smaller seats that go on the toilet seat. Before I change her diaper I will always ask "do you want to sit on the potty?". We've been doing that while she's at home. If she says no then I just change her diaper, if she's interested I'll get her on the potty. Definitely don't force it or push it. As with anything they'll do it more in their own time. We don't always get a pee when she's on the potty and that's okay. When she tells all done (which is sometimes only a minute later) we take her off. If she does pee while on the potty we celebrate it! And she claps for herself lol we have been doing flashcards lately with letters, colors, shapes, and numbers so she will sit on it a little longer.

Keep trying don’t give up! i potty trained by staying in for 3-4 days my toddler was almost two and would never sit down I eventually started to notice what she looked like when she had to go so I would put her on the toilet. but she’s now fully potty trained at 2 1/2. There will be accidents but don’t let it discourage.

My daughter too we started 3 weeks ago and it took about a week before she would sit long enough to actually sit on the potty. The best thing was too bring her small potty to the bathroom and then I would turn on the faucet and sit on the potty and that kept her on the potty till she went. We slowly stopped turning on the faucet and now she can just sit and release the pee. Keep going getting to the other side is so rewarding for both of you.
