Ahh I know exactly where you mean and didn’t bid because of that same reason! I drove round there to check it out before bidding and saw no car access what so ever! I don’t get it.. like how would postman, food delivery ect even get there? It literally looked like a paved little village to me

The parking situation is a bit awkward as it's not situated near many side roads.

I honestly think they’re made for those who travel via public transport… because there’s literally no other choice from the looks of things.. I don’t think it’s well thought out though like what if someone needed a grocery delivery?!
Ive bid on it and been offered it and now stressing about parking😭im sure birmingham city council could give residents permit on one of the side streets? And im pretty sure there is an entrance for deliveries etc as there is a car park onsite but only for private people who have bought the flats! But there are cameras that check the number plates going in and out so not sure😩
@May have you viewed it yet? How is the inside? Is open plan kitchen

I got my offer 5 weeks ago and havent heard anything from anyone🥲i just chased them up and apparently theyre very behind and havent even gone through the first stage of applications, so viewings wont be for a while😓but ive seen some pictures of the inside online (dont know which exact building) but they are all open plan!

@Jemmesha no way?! When did she get to view? They’ve been saying to me no ones viewing yet🤨did she get her keys on the same day as thats what they said to me? Lol not long! I’d say maybe a few weeks? Maybe a month, but its all been on the tower block flats etc on houses i was still in the 100’s x
@May girl, they are lying😂. I've heard of quite a few people going to view them. No, she doesn't have them yet. Yeah I'm not fussed for a house as of yet, I just really want one of them flats in Perry Barr so I just wanted to suss what my chances are, thank you girl, I hope u get to view your property soon!
@Jemmesha if you’re under 10 they’ll be a high chance you’ll get one. I know someone that got one being number 7. I was number 1 for multiple properties but you only get one. Sometimes people refuse and also don’t meet the affordability checks. The rent for the property is £750.52PCM ( two bedroom) so it’s quite expensive compared to other properties
Same reason why I haven’t bidded on them yet, I was queue 1 last night for it but needed to know about parking! Beautiful apartments but no parking😭
@Fatima I can sacrifice parking because I think they will soon allow parking on site or they’ll be parking around on streets. Hope they’re worth it though 😂
I say that but I have been moaning about the parking since I won the bidding 😂
@aisha parking aside, the apartments/flats themselves are so so nice! So I’m hoping they do sort something asap cus they’ve just been giving me 40 options of them flats every week😭
The apartments are lovely. Parking is the only downside
